The Mary Lou Cundall Boyd
Local History Room

The Haworth Library is proud to be the repository of the historical collection of our late town historian,

Mary Lou Cundall Boyd.  Over the years, Mary Lou collected hundreds of photos, dozens of boxes of documents, and many other items that tell the story of Haworth--and with the library's expansion and renovation in 2015, the town's history can now be housed in a room dedicated to Mary Lou.

It was the donations of Mary Lou's Tenafly High School classmates that helped to make the room a reality. And much of the furniture was donated by Suez Water, which was closing down its Harrington Park facility and offered furniture just perfect for a history room.
